The 2020 China Conference on Oncology (CCO) and the second annual conference of the Tumor Microenvironment Professional Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, hosted by the Tumor Microenvironment Professional Committee and organized by Guangzhou Concord Cancer Center, has been held in Changlong Hotel International Convention and Exhibition Center, Guangzhou from November 14th to 15th, 2020. This meeting was conducted online and offline. The number of on-site attendees in the two days exceeded 300+, and the highest number of simultaneous online viewers reached 31,551.
Gathering in Yangcheng in golden autumn, the conference kicked off
The frontiers of tumor microenvironment research, new targets and new theories of tumor immunity and other research hot spots were discussed in the conference. Speakers and participants came from all over the country.

At present, the core components of the proton system have been installed, and the laboratory platform covering an area of more than 3,000 square meters will also be put into use. Guangzhou Concord Cancer Center would like to join hands with clinicians to promote the development of medicine industry, and research in the tumor microenvironment and even oncology.

Guangzhou Concord Cancer Center was approved as a member unit of The Union for International Cancer Control (referred to as UICC below), at the 2019 China Oncology Conference in Chongqing on August 17. GCCC was in the first batch of mixed ownership medical institutions in China to join UICC, also the second medical institution in South China to join UICC after Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center.
The National Cancer Center of China announced the approval results of the 2019 radiotherapy quality assurance guideline project on June 29, 2020. The project “The Practice Guideline of Total Body Irradiation Technology", which presided by professor Fu Shen, a member of the Academic Committee of the Proton Center of the MD Anderson Cancer Center, the chief radiotherapy expert of Concord Medical Holdings Meizhong Jiahe Medical Group, and professor Li Zuofeng, the chief physicist of Concord Medical Holdings Meizhong Jiahe Medical Group and Guangzhou Concord Cancer Center, was finally approved after fierce competition.
